Stop the bounce
TL;DR
Wear the pack high and snug: tighten the shoulder, sternum and (where included) waist straps so the load sits close to your back. The ergonomic back panel and breathable padding help the bag stay stable while you run or ride.
A stable carry starts with the right position. Put the backpack on and pull the shoulder straps until the bag sits high between your shoulder blades. Clip the sternum strap to stop the shoulder straps from splaying when you’re moving. If your model includes a waist belt/strap, secure it snugly over your hips — this takes weight off your shoulders and locks the load to your torso to reduce vertical movement.
All Stolt backpacks are built with runner-friendly ergonomics: padded, breathable back panel; adjustable, padded shoulder straps; and a sternum strap for a close fit. The Athlete model adds a detachable waist strap that you can use for extra stability on run days (or remove when you don’t need it). The Alpha models include waist straps with small pockets for quick-grab items.
Finally, pack heavier items closest to your back (e.g., laptop in the dedicated sleeve) and use internal pockets to stop small items from rattling. Keeping the centre of gravity close to you is what makes a pack feel “no-bounce” at pace.
